How payments and refunds actually work.

That happens — bigger agencies, multi-product teams, regulated industries. Book a 15-min call and we’ll quote a custom package.

What payment methods do you accept?

Stripe for cards globally (USD billing). Wise for bank transfers in USD, GBP, EUR, or INR. PayPal on request. Bank wire for enterprise. Razorpay for Indian customers. Invoices go out on the 1st of each month for Subscribe and Flex.

Can I switch between Subscribe and Flex?

Yes — and a few customers do. Brands typically stay on Subscribe; agencies typically stay on Flex. If your business model changes (you start an agency, you go in-house at a brand), we’ll move you over on the 1st of the next month. No fees, no penalties.

What happens if I cancel mid-month?

You stay active until the end of the current paid month, then it stops. We don’t pro-rate refunds for partial months on Subscribe and Flex (the work has already been started). Unused development hours on Studio/Squad/Flex don’t roll forward past cancellation.

How do refunds work if SLA is missed?

Subscribe: if we miss a request’s stated turnaround twice in a month, we credit the request to your next invoice. If we miss a dev hour cap delivery commitment, we credit those hours. Flex: if we miss a same-day Slack SLA twice in a week, we credit the equivalent hours. We’ve held to 96%+ on-time since 2022, so this almost never triggers.

Do you charge GST? International tax?

International customers (USD billing): prices shown are exclusive of local VAT/GST — your accountant will know better than we do whether you owe local tax. Indian customers: 18% GST applies, reverse-charge eligible if you’re GST-registered. We provide tax invoices for both.

Are there setup fees or hidden costs?

None. The price you see is the price you pay. Subscribe and Flex are billed monthly with no setup, no onboarding fee, no minimum term beyond month 1. The only ‘extras’ are: approved dev-hour overages on Studio/Squad (billed at the plan’s hourly rate), and approved hour overages on Flex (billed at the tier’s hourly rate). Both shown as separate line items on the invoice — never a surprise.

Do you offer annual discounts?

10% off if you pre-pay 6 months on Subscribe or Flex. 15% off if you pre-pay 12 months. We don’t actively push annual contracts — month-to-month is built into our pricing principle — but if cash flow makes it work for you, the discount is real.

What if I'm a non-profit or student team?

20% off all plans for registered non-profits, student-led startups (incubator-backed), and certain civic-tech projects. Email founders@designvity.com with a brief description of what you’re building and we’ll set up a discounted rate.

How do the development hours work in Studio and Squad?

Studio includes 20 dev hours per month, Squad includes 50. Hours are tracked weekly in your project tracker and shown on the monthly invoice. Unused hours roll over 20% into the next month (so 4 of 20 from Studio, 10 of 50 from Squad). Overages are pre-approved before we work them, billed at $40/hr on Studio and $35/hr on Squad. Solo doesn’t include dev — upgrade to Studio if you need it.
